By creating an account or using GoDelivery, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
GoDelivery is a platform that connects senders, receivers, and independent delivery partners ("riders") to book, track, and complete local deliveries within our service area.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Accounts are verified by a one-time code sent to your phone number, which you agree to keep secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Delivery charges are calculated from the distance between pickup and delivery locations and the total weight of the shipment, and may include a surcharge for dangerous goods. The price shown at booking is an estimate; the final amount is confirmed on the order.
You may choose to pay by cash on delivery, bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, or ConnectIPS. At this time, only cash-on-delivery payments are settled and confirmed automatically through the platform — other methods are recorded as your intended payment method but must be arranged directly between the paying party and the receiving party unless otherwise stated. Whoever is designated as the payer (sender or receiver) at booking is responsible for settling the delivery charge.
You may not ship illegal items, or items prohibited by applicable law. Dangerous goods (as flagged at booking) must be accurately declared; undeclared dangerous goods may result in order cancellation, and you are liable for any resulting loss or damage.
We aim to deliver shipments accurately and on time, but delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. A delivery is considered complete once confirmed by the receiver (and, where applicable, an admin). Our liability for lost or damaged packages is limited to the declared value of the shipment or the delivery charge paid, whichever is lower, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
A sender may cancel an order before it has been picked up. Once a shipment has been picked up by a rider, it can no longer be cancelled through the platform.
Riders agree to handle packages with care, follow assigned routes and statuses accurately, and treat senders and receivers professionally. Delivery partner accounts are subject to suspension for unsafe, fraudulent, or abusive conduct.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to other users or the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of GoDelivery after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
